Who we are
Our website address is: https://talks.paediatricrespiratory.com. This site is purely for facult and attendees of the King’s John Price Paediatric Respiratory Conference to gain access to videos of the talks, and online content generated just for members.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
When someone visits paediatricrespiratory.com we use an external service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. The specific cookies used to achieve this are listed on our cookies page.
Mailing Lists (email)
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect your full name, email address and organisation via our website mailing list opt-in, only the email address is a ‘required’ option. We use that email address to keep you up to date with news about us and to let you know about new projects . We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Sarah Mills on sarahmills[at]ninjabeaver[dot]net
